About The Farmer 

Justina has been producing coffee for about 25 years and she is the third generation of coffee producers in her family. Her farm, El Injerto, resides in Las Flores, Marcala where as a single mother, she and her son, Ronnie, manage the farm all on their own. Justina puts a lot of hard work and dedication into her farm by preparing her own fertilizers and prunes her coffee trees as needed earning her a the certified organic and fair trade label. Justina feels like her work pays off when she sees people enjoying her coffee, recognizing the care and patience that goes into the production of it. The farm name “El Injerto” comes from an ancient fruit that was once seen in that area.
