Big Spoon Roasters Toasted Coconut Almond Butter

Developed in collaboration with our friend and legendary endurance athlete Mike Wardian, Toasted Coconut Almond Butter is handmade from fresh-roasted heirloom Mission almonds, crispy house-toasted coconut chips, Organic coconut nectar, and hand-harvested Jacobsen sea salt to create an incomparably crispy-crunchy nut butter with a delicious natural sweetness that belies its low-sugar content. 

This recipe starts with slices of fresh coconut meat, which we slowly toast to sweet, caramelized perfection and a perfectly crunchy texture.

Toasted Coconut is still Mike’s favorite, and he spreads it thickly on toast, bananas, and anything else he can find to fuel his world-beating adventures (like running across the whole USA). We especially love this nut butter on toast with ripe berries, in smoothie or açai bowls, and stirred into overnight oats.

Our freshly made nut butters have a best-by date of one year from production date.
